As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized medical care, including diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnoses, and manage treatment plans
- Perform gastrointestinal procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and wellness
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in gastroenterology
- Participate in hospital rounds and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with medical guidelines and standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Previous experience in a gastroenterology setting is preferred
Schedule: 24-hour on-site call shifts
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: ~4 consults
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
ACLS & BLS required
Paid travel & expenses
