As a Locum General Surgeon, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective surgical interventions and follow-up care. Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures in the field of general surgery
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in medical staff meetings and case reviews
  • Adhere to established protocols and quality standards
  • Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and practices

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a residency program in General Surgery
  • Current board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • Strong surgical skills and a commitment to patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Current state medical license to practice in Williston

 

Experience in a locum or temporary position is a plus

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a

Patient Volume: 1-2 per day, ~34 per month

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
