Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with hematological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in hematology and oncology
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in case reviews and clinical meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Hematology/Oncology
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong clinical skills in hematology and oncology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 8-10 per day
Caseload: 100% benign hematology
Support Staff: 6 Medical Oncologists
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
