As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing inpatient care, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality treatment and support to patients. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans
• Participate in rounds and provide updates on patient status
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in internal medicine

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Previous experience in a hospitalist or internal medicine role is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Patient Volume: 14-20 per day

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
