 This on-site, contract position presents an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on neurological health and surgical interventions.

As a Locum Neurosurgeon, you will play a vital role in delivering specialized care to patients, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care within our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Perform neurosurgical procedures, including consultations and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in neurosurgery
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in Washington State
  • Completion of a residency program in neurosurgery
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in neurosurgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
  • Previous locum tenens experience is preferred but not required

Schedule: 24-hour call, Friday 7a-Monday 7a

Neurosurgery and endovascular services

Duties: Stroke call coverage and interventional services

Required Procedures: Craniotomy and stroke intervention

EMR: Epic Gold

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
