As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, ensuring the health and well-being of women throughout their reproductive years. You will collaborate with a skilled team of medical professionals to manage patient care, conduct examinations, and develop treatment plans that align with best practices in women's health.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices
  • Participate in patient education and counseling

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license in the state of Washington
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in managing diverse patient cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), 3 days per week

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

Level I Nursery

Patient Volume: 2-5 per day

Duties: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, triage if required, ED consults, and GYN surgeries as necessary 

Support Staff: L&D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, lab tech

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
