This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our medical practice while delivering exceptional care to our patients in a supportive environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal and postnatal care, routine check-ups, and surgical procedures as needed. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Perform routine examinations and screenings
- Manage prenatal and postnatal care
- Conduct surgical procedures as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on the latest medical practices and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferred
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Census: 15-20 per day
Support Staff: MA, RN, ultrasound tech, and sonographer
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
