 This contract, on-site position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry by offering high-quality care to our patients.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team during periods of high demand. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, ensuring the well-being of our patients. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations and screenings
• Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care
• Perform surgical procedures as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines in Ob/Gyn
• Participate in patient education and counseling

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Ob/Gyn
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
• 1-3 years of experience in Ob/Gyn preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Ob/Gyn procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Level II Trauma

Schedule: 24-hour in-house call, 2-3 shifts per month

Patient Census: 4 deliveries per 24-hour shift

Duties: DNCs, post-operative complications, deliveries, post-partum patients, and full-spectrum OB/GYN

Support Staff: Additional OB Hospitalist

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
