Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Stay current with advancements in OB/GYN practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate level experience in obstetrics and gynecology
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of current OB/GYN practices and technologies
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Weekend beeper call
Daily Census: ~15 - 20 patients
Support Staff: LVN, MA
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
