This contract position requires on-site work during the night shift, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during nighttime hours. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of ensuring comprehensive reproductive health services while working alongside a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Perform deliveries and assist in surgical procedures as needed
• Conduct patient consultations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality care
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work night shifts as required
• Prior experience in a locum or similar role is preferred

Schedule: 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week (weeknights and weekends)

Call Requirement: 3 shifts per week

Setting: 100% inpatient

Annual Volume: ~1,200 deliveries

Support Staff: OB/GYN physician, CNM, and PA

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
