In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients, performing obstetric and gynecological procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the highest standard of care. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the mission of our medical practice.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
  • Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to develop care plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their health and treatment options
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion initiatives
  • Stay updated with the latest medical practices and advancements in Ob/Gyn
  • Support continuity of care and follow-up for patients

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred
  • Experience in an Ob/Gyn practice or relevant clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current medical procedures and standards
  • Contractual commitment and availability for night shifts

Schedule: 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week (weeknights and weekends)

Call Requirement: 3 shifts per week

Setting: 100% inpatient

Annual Volume: ~1,200 deliveries

Surgical first-assist required

Support Staff: OB/GYN physician, CNM, and PA

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
