As a Locum MD or DO in our Otolaryngology department, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions. This position allows you to engage directly with patients and collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional medical care while contributing to our practice's goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions
- Diagnose and treat a variety of ENT-related issues
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans
- Document patient evaluations and treatments accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in Otolaryngology or related field preferred
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Level I Trauma Center
Schedule: Friday 4p-Monday 6a, 2 weekends per month
100% onsite call
Patient Population: Adult & pediatric
Procedures: Cerumen removal, diagnostic laryngoscopy, diagnostic nasal endoscopy, excision of tongue fold
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
