Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic examinations on tissue specimens
  • Interpret laboratory results and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated on advancements in pathology and medical technology
  • Consult with other specialists regarding complex cases
  • Provide education and training to medical staff as needed

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Pathology preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a pathology setting
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of laboratory standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No required call shifts

Case Types: Heme and surgical pathology

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
