 This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level professional to contribute to our medical practice in a hands-on, on-site capacity.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and interpreting medical information, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive pathology services, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our practice. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret pathology results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care strategies
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of findings
  • Participate in case discussions and clinical conferences
  • Maintain compliance with medical regulations and standards
  • Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Stay updated on advancements in pathology and related fields
  • Support the overall mission and values of the practice

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license in the state of practice
  • Associate level experience in pathology or related field
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to patient care and ethical practice
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and pathology software
  •  
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • Weekend beeper call shifts available
  • Anatomic pathology skills required, clinical pathology skills preferred
  • Will gross frozen sections
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
