his on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver essential healthcare services to children in our community, ensuring their health and well-being.

As a Locum Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions and illnesses
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health concerns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in on-call duties as required
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Stay current with developments in pediatric medicine and best practices

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Colorado
  • Experience in pediatrics is preferred
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 7a-7a

Setting: Inpatient only, 8-bed Level I Nursery

Patient Volume: 1.5 per day, 30 per month

Duties: Newborn care

Required Procedures: Circumcision and PALS

Support Staff: Lab tech, X-ray tech, and RN

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
