As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical services to our patients, ensuring their health and well-being. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients about health management and preventive care
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care or related field
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: Up to 10 per day, including some possible telehealth appointments
Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain
EMR: CPRS
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
