As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images, collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient evaluations. Responsibilities

  • Perform radiological examinations and interpret diagnostic imaging results
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in radiology
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Provide timely reports and consultations to medical staff
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technology
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff when applicable

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
  • Completion of a residency in Radiology
  • Board certification in Radiology preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with digital imaging systems and radiology software

Flexible Schedule: 6:30a-4p, 7:30a-5p, or 7a-2p

Call Shifts: 6p-6:30a or 2p-7a

Will consider remote coverage

Support Staff: 2 PAs

EMR: Epic

PACS: Merge and McKesson

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
