As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services, collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
- Provide timely and thorough reports on imaging findings
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines in medical practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and radiology best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
No call requirement
Setting: Onsite only
Daily Volume: 7 procedures or 70+ RVUs
All breast procedures and breast modalities are required
Duties: Biopsies, MRI interpretation, mammography, ultrasound, etc.
Must participate in tumor board
PACS: Philips
Dictation: Fluency
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
