This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and assist in the development of innovative treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all imaging practices
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the diagnostic process
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Completion of residency training in Radiology
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
Flexible Schedule: Night shifts (11p-7a) or day shifts (between 7a-6p)
Case Volume: 7-8 RVUs per shift
Skillsets: General, body, or neuro
Diverse caseloads
Primarily outpatient reads, some inpatient reads
Some pediatric coverage at night
Systems: Philips, iSite, PowerScribe, Epic
Workstations provided
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
