As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine, you will play a critical role in our medical practice, providing immediate care to patients in urgent situations. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of medical conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced environment
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Develop and implement treatment plans for urgent medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols
• Participate in continuing education and professional development

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Annual Volume: 80k patients

Support Staff: APPs, potentially another MD

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
