As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Your expertise in endocrinology and obstetrics/gynecology will be invaluable as you work closely with our team to enhance patient outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care in the fields of endocrinology and Ob/Gyn
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and women's health

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Endocrinology or Ob/Gyn
• Valid medical license to practice in Iowa
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p, 1 week per month) + half days on the weekends

Annual Volume: 750 cycles

Daily Volume: 4-6 cycles + transfers

Support Staff: NPs, MAs, and fellows

Must be board-certified
