As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care, focusing on endocrine disorders and obstetrics/gynecology. - Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in Endocrinology and Ob/Gyn
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform procedures as necessary in both specialties
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines in medical practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in Iowa
- Experience in Endocrinology and Ob/Gyn settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p, 1 week per month) + half days on the weekends
Annual Volume: 750 cycles
Daily Volume: 4-6 cycles + transfers
Support Staff: NPs, MAs, and fellows
Must be board-certified
