This is a contract, on-site position that offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential medical care to patients in a supportive environment.
As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality family medicine services, addressing the healthcare needs of individuals and families. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care while contributing to the overall mission of enhancing community health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients
- Manage ongoing patient care and follow-up
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay informed about advancements in family medicine practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in family medicine or primary care settings
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
No call requirement
Patient Census: 12 per day
Must be board-certified
