As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a family medicine setting
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer vaccinations and perform minor surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare and wellness practices
- Stay informed about new medical technologies and treatments
- Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current state medical license to practice family medicine
- Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and practice demands
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 12-14 per day
Support Staff: Additional MDs, APPs, pediatrician, OB/GYN, X-ray tech, etc.
EMR: RPMS
Any state license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
