 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes while gaining valuable experience in a diverse practice setting. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a family medicine setting
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer vaccinations and perform minor surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare and wellness practices
• Stay informed about new medical technologies and treatments
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Current state medical license to practice family medicine
• Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and practice demands

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Census: 12-14 per day

Support Staff: Additional MDs, APPs, pediatrician, OB/GYN, X-ray tech, etc.

EMR: RPMS

Any state license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
