As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with hematological and oncological conditions. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient evaluation and management in hematology oncology
- Diagnose and treat a range of hematological and oncological disorders
- Conduct consultations and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care plans
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of hematology oncology
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting focusing on hematology oncology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with excellent diagnostic skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Lawton
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Minimum call, phone only
- Setting: Outpatient, onsite and remote
Daily Volume: ~8-10 to start, then ~12-15 patients
Case Types: 50/50 hematology /medical oncology
EMR: Mosaic
Must be board-certified
