Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations and assessments to diagnose hematological and oncological conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients
• Perform therapeutic procedures as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in hematology oncology
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology Oncology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Petersburg
• Strong knowledge of hematological disorders and cancer treatment protocols
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts

No call required

Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient available

Daily Volume: 15-18 patients

Patient Population: Adults only

Case Types: 60% medical oncology and 40% hematology oncology

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

DEA required

Paid travel & expenses
