 This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.

As a Locum MD in Neurology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes. Your expertise will directly impact our patients' lives, and you will be involved in a variety of cases that will keep your skills sharp and your work engaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough neurological assessments and examinations
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Stay current with advancements in neurology and best practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Neurology is preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical setting, ideally in neurology
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to high-quality patient care
• Current medical licensure to practice in Ohio

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts

Setting: 100% inpatient

Patient Census: 10-20+ per day

Patient Population: 100% adult

Required procedures: Radiologic exam interpretations, thrombolytic therapy, EEGs, EMGs, brain death exams

Support Staff: 2 physicians and 3 APPs

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
