 This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential medical care to children in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our pediatric patients. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of children in the community, ensuring they receive the best possible care. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients of all ages
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of childhood illnesses and conditions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs
• Stay current with medical advancements and pediatric practices

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in pediatrics, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Knowledge of current pediatric healthcare guidelines and best practices
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing medical situations

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 to 10-hour shifts

Patient Census: 12-16 per day

Patient Population: Infants, children, and adolescents

Duties: Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, provide immunizations and preventive health services, etc.

Any active, unrestricted state license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
