As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure the highest standards of medical practice. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine appropriate imaging protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiological technology and techniques
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff when applicable

Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • Experience as a radiologist in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Washington

Schedule: 4 days per week

Shifts available at two facilities

Duties: All modalities (including all breast interventional procedures), tomosynthesis, US, MRI, image-guided biopsies, and pre-op localizations

IT Platforms:

EMR: PowerScribe, Hologic, Epic

PACs: Philips Intellispace/GE

MRI Software: CADStream/DynaCAD

MD Dashboard: EasyViz Viewer

Must be board-certified
