 This contract position requires an on-site presence and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, as you collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care. 

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
• Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
• Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology and procedures
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and radiology residents

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Radiology
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in various imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care

Shifts available Monday-Sunday, 12a-7a

Duties: Read pending cases from the inpatient list, serve as backup for ED reads and stat cases

PACS: Change

Dictation: Dragon

Must be board-certified
