This contract position offers an on-site working mode, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a thriving medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality radiological services and will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes through accurate interpretation of imaging studies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Interpret imaging results and provide timely reports to referring physicians
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in radiological practices
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and methodologies
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff and radiology technicians
  • Manage patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially

Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in a radiology setting
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and protocols
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current medical licensure to practice in the state of Columbia

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Call: Weekdays or weekends, 4:30p-8a

Skillsets: DX, US, CT, MRI, IR, or nuclear medicine

EMR: CPRS

Any state license accepted

Must be board-certified
