As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to aid in patient care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Interpret imaging results and communicate findings to referring physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient management plans
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging process
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree
- Board certification in Radiology
- 5+ years of experience in a radiology practice
- Strong proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
Weeknight call (4p-7a) and weekend call (24-hour) available
Setting: Onsite, shifts available at multiple locations
Case Types: General or pediatric IR
Must be ABR board-certified or board-eligible
