This contract position is an on-site opportunity that offers an exciting chance to make a significant impact in patient care while working within a collaborative and professional environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced imaging techniques. You will work closely with our dedicated medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and participate in various radiological procedures that align with our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiological examinations and interpret imaging results
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Stay current with advancements in radiology and medical technology
• Provide training and support to junior staff as needed
• Engage in continuous professional education and development

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Strong understanding of radiological principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: Weekdays, 8a-5p

Call: Weekdays (5p-8a) and weekends (Friday 5p-Monday 8a)

Daily Volume: 5-8 procedures

Required Procedures: Central venous access, percutaneous biopsy/drainage, mesenteric arteriography, venous/DVT/IVC filter, trauma embolization, nephrostomy/biliary

Must be board-certified
