 This contract position requires on-site work, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging results, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to various projects that enhance our services.

Responsibilities

• Interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to determine patient diagnoses
• Provide accurate and timely reports on imaging results
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical imaging technologies
• Mentor and train junior staff when required
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Experience in interpreting various imaging modalities
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 1 week on / 3 weeks off

Shift: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Case Mix: CT, ultrasound, plain films, and MR (body + neuro)

Focus: Primarily ER and STAT inpatient reads

Must be board-certified
