As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and accurate interpretations of imaging results. Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging results
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians and patients
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology
- Assist in the training and mentorship of medical staff and residents
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiology
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Level I trauma center
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Weeknight and weekend call
Patient Ages: Pediatric
Case Volume: 80-100 per day
Case Types: Plain films, ultrasounds, CT, and MRs; no neuro
PACS: Visage
Dictation: PowerScribe
Work List: Workflow Orchestrated
Board certification required
