Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the imaging department
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with advancements in radiology
- Assist in the development of imaging protocols and guidelines
- Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns regarding imaging procedures
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience in radiology as a resident or associate
- Strong understanding of imaging technology and techniques
- Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practice
Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 8a-5p
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: ~40 RVUs
Must be able to read PET CT and do general nuclear responsibilities
Licensed to do therapies is a plus
Will teach residents
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
