As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
- Collaborate with medical staff to discuss findings and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in radiology
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
- Provide exceptional patient care and address patient concerns
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of West Virginia
- Board certification in Radiology preferred
- Prior experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
Schedule: 7a-4p
Daily Volume: 6-10 procedures
Board certification required
