As a Locum MD in Urology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality urological care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urological assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients
- Perform urological surgeries and procedures as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on urological health and preventive measures
- Participate in case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in urology and medical practices
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas
- Associate level experience in Urology or related field
- Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose complex conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Patient Population: Adults
Duties: Hospital call (including ER, urgent inpatient needs, and occasional intraoperative needs)
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
