As a Locum Nephrologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with kidney-related conditions. You will be involved in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' health issues while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nephrology care to patients in a clinical setting
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
  • Educate patients and families on kidney health and disease management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in nephrology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
  • Experience in nephrology preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic setting

Schedule: 8-hour clinic shifts

Call Requirement: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights and some weekends

Setting: Outpatient with inpatient call

Patient Census: 10 per day

Board certification required
