As a Locum NP, you will play an essential role in delivering comprehensive care to patients, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care within the oncology department. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Hematology and Medical Oncology departments
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop patient care plans
• Administer treatments and therapies in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and side effects
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Massachusetts
• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Basic understanding of Hematology and Medical Oncology principles
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in an oncology setting is highly desirable
• Commitment to patient care and continuous professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p

No call requirement

11 infusion bays

Daily Volume: 32 patients

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
