 This on-site, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

As a Locum NP/PA in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and ensure optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
• Perform routine check-ups and follow-up care
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology and related practices

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Valid NP or PA certification and state licensure
• Experience in cardiology or related medical field is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts

Shift Information: 7p-7a

Duties: Rounding, daily progress notes, admissions, new consults, discharges, ordering medications and tests

Mostly step-down and cardiology unit patients

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
