Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the cardiology and critical care unit
- Perform physical examinations and evaluate patient health status
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in patient rounds and contribute to care discussions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
- Previous experience in cardiology or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs
Schedule: 7a-7p
22-bed pediatric cardiac ICU
Patient Census: 11-12 per shift
Will cover all stat-level patients
Must have pediatric cardiac ICU experience
Must be board-certified
