In this role, you will play a crucial part in our medical practice, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients in critical condition, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the cardiology and critical care unit
• Perform physical examinations and evaluate patient health status
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in patient rounds and contribute to care discussions

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or related field
• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
• Previous experience in cardiology or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs

Schedule: 7a-7p

22-bed pediatric cardiac ICU

Patient Census: 11-12 per shift

Will cover all stat-level patients

Must have pediatric cardiac ICU experience

Must be board-certified
