. This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical practice environment.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Critical Care and Neurology departments, collaborating with experienced healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care in Critical Care and Neurology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in case reviews and care coordination activities.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing or related field.
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of New Mexico.
- Experience in Critical Care and/or Neurology is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
Schedule: 5:30a-5:30p, 7 on/7 off
High acuity, high volume site
Daily volume: 8-18 patients, ~12 on average
Must be confident and competent with standard procedures
Will work in tandem with another provider
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
