Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in critical care settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide optimal care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options
- Document patient interactions and care plans in electronic medical records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
- Stay current with best practices in critical care and neurology
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current NP or PA certification with a focus in Critical Care or Neurology
- Previous experience in a critical care or neurology setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
