Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with best practices in family medicine
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
- Experience in family medicine or primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 18-22 per day
Patient Population: 65% adults, 29% geriatrics, and 6% pediatrics
Case Types: Bread and butter primary care, common musculoskeletal problems, psychiatry, employment physicals, disability exams, well-woman care, orthopedics, and x-ray and EKG interpretation
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
