This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical practice setting.

In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality healthcare to patients with hematological and oncological conditions. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing patient treatment plans, as well as in patient education and support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in Hematology and Oncology preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of patient management systems and electronic health records
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 3-4 days per week, 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 5-6 patients

Hematology and BiTE therapy patients with solid tumors

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
