As a Locum NP/PA in Hematology Oncology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing patients with hematologic conditions and cancers. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
• Stay updated on advancements in Hematology Oncology practices and protocols

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field; NP/PA certification preferred
• Experience in Hematology Oncology or related specialty is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

   

Schedule: 3-4 days per week, 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 5-6 patients

Hematology and BiTE therapy patients with solid tumors

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
