Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement patient care plans
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to best practices and regulatory standards in patient care

Requirements

  • Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
  • Associate degree in Nursing (for NP) or Physician Assistant studies
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Knowledge of hospital medicine practices and protocols
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments

Schedule: 3-5 days per workweek 7a-7p

Setting: Inpatient

# of Beds: 10

Patient Volumes:

Admitting: ~ 5-8 per day

Rounding: ~ 6-10 per day

No procedures

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Additional Required Certifications: DEA, ACLS, BLS

Paid travel & expenses
