As a Locum NP or PA in Psychiatry, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. This position allows you to collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care and support for our patients. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments
• Participate in continuous professional development and training

Requirements

• Valid NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Experience in psychiatric care or mental health settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care
• Knowledge of current mental health practices and regulations
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek

No weekends or call required

Patient Population: All ages

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
