As a Locum NP or PA in Psychiatry, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
Requirements
- Valid NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Experience in psychiatric care or mental health settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care
- Knowledge of current mental health practices and regulations
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek
No weekends or call required

Must be board-certified
