Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and history-taking prior to radiological procedures
- Assist radiologists in interpreting imaging studies and results
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records
- Provide patient education regarding procedures, results, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
- Experience in radiology or a related field preferred
- Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of relevant medical software and technology
Schedule: Monday–Sunday 7 on/7 off
Shift Times: 5p–12a
Duties: Light IR procedures, including paras, thoras, and biopsies
Support Team: Hybrid DX team
Must be board-certified
